After a Summer of IMBA trail designs working on Tamarac Resort in Idaho they hooked up with us for a ride in the Whitecloud Mountains. Shuffling people and gear for the ride!

We climbed up the Born Lakes trail to the 10,000ft pass into the basin. Here Abe enjoys a little downhill.

Catch that breath before the steep descent!
You descend about 800ft on a loose switchback and scree field and come out on this high alpine meadow. Darien walks the water crossing!

The drop from 10,000 feet continued as abe negotiates a tricky log.

After the log you come to a rock garden that makes most rock gardens seem wimpy, here abe does his best.

After some snacks we started the fast and flowing section of the trail. Abe goes off the drop.

Ride number 2 on Sunday with the guys from Minnesota! Fischer Creek and Warm Springs Trail.

We turned onto Warm Springs Meadow and hit a nice rock garden which provided a challenge for most.
We had some little pile ups
This is our lunch cabin, it was very spacious and felt very open, are you sure this is not just for midgets.

Looking back up Warm Springs Creek and where we came from
The last downhill is steeper than snot!
We loaded up the shuttle vehical and headed back to the trailhead, how to pack as many bikes in as possible!
We arrive at the trailhead and set about the task of untangaling the mess of bikes in the trailer.
The little bit of rain we hit made for a nice cloud show in the valley
